Containerized & OEM projects

A container simplifies some installation interfaces but does not remove site engineering. Agree on the container envelope, internal service clearances, ventilation, access and external connections. For OEM cooperation, identify the brand presentation, documentation language and division of design responsibilities before the equipment list is finalized.

Questions worth settling early

  • Shipping and installation envelope
  • Ventilation and maintenance clearances
  • OEM scope and document responsibilities

What to prepare

  • Feed-water source, analysis and temperature range
  • Required product flow and hours of operation
  • Product-water use and quality requirements
  • Electrical supply, footprint and reject-water route

Make the scope explicit

Ask the proposal to distinguish equipment supply, civil works, external piping, electrical connections, commissioning, training and consumables. Confirm each responsibility in the project quotation. Items discussed on this website are planning considerations, not an automatic inclusion in every supply package.

TDS alone does not describe scaling, fouling or the pretreatment required.
